Versatility and stability in construction

Anchors, whether temporary or permanent, can be applied to:

  • Bracing of diaphragm walls, pile curtains and micropiles.
  • Slope stabilization.
  • Traction absorption of any type of foundation, removals in slabs, reinforcement of interior structures, such as dams or in tunnels and galleries...

They are classified according to various characteristics and we can talk about: active or passive anchors, cable or bar, permanent or provisional, re-teasable or non-re-teasable, with an injection system such as Single Injection, Repetitive Injection or Repetitive and Selective Injection.

During the process of anchoring to the ground there is another complementary process such as bolts.

The most common ground anchors

Permanent anchors

They are anchors that are permanently installed, for a useful life of more than two years. They must be sized and executed to deal with the effects of corrosion.

Temporary anchors

Some of the anchors that are projected onto the ground have a short duration and are necessary for some of the construction phases of the work. The provisional anchors provide the necessary stability to continue with the construction process during the time necessary to complete the definitive processes by which these temporary ground anchors will be replaced.
